Fractional CTO

This service gives an operator senior technical review for a defined number of days each month. It is useful when decisions are expensive but a full-time CTO role is not yet justified.

Typical responsibilities

• Technical roadmap and priority review
• Architecture and integration review
• Vendor and platform evaluation
• Engineering hiring and interview support
• Delivery risk, security, and technical-debt review
• Written decisions, owners, and next actions

Engagement boundaries

Scope, days per month, decision rights, documentation, and exit terms are written before the engagement begins. The role works with the existing team and does not replace delivery ownership.
